This past week has been amazing!! On Thursday we picked up our horse!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D I am beyond THRILLED!!!!!!! He is a beautiful, white, quarter horse! He stands 16 hands tall! He's huge! He is very sweet and gentle! He is great around kids too! ATTENTION fellow Lord of the Rings fans!!!! Tell me, does he not look like Shadowfax?!?!?! I think he does! ^_^
So, to me he is Shadowfax.... ^_^ Lucky is happy to have a new buddy. :) The little kids love riding Lucky too! Especially Gessa. ^_^
We have not ridden him yet. I'm feeling very antsies in my pantsies about riding him. You have no idea. xD ;D He is 17 and has been trained at a Christian youth camp since he was 4. We are going to get a bare back pad because he was always ridden bare back at the camp. :) (Even more like Shadowfax) xD
We braided his mane. I know- we couldn't resist. xD But we took it out right after. xD Isn't it pretty though? ;) This was him and Lucky right after he got there!!
The kitties don't seem to be scared of him at all!! :D That's Eleanor rubbing Storm's hooves. xD
I'm not exactly sure when we can ride him, but I REALLY hope it is soooon!!!!!
